Welcome to Amber Buddy.

Amber Buddy is operated by Jewelry Focus Ltd, a company based in the United Kingdom. Throughout these Terms of Service, the terms “Amber Buddy”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Jewelry Focus Ltd trading as Amber Buddy.

We operate the Amber Buddy online store and website, including the information, content, features, tools, products and services made available through it (collectively, the “Services”). Our online store is powered by Shopify.

These Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy, Return and Refund Policy, Shipping Policy and other policies published on our website, govern your use of the Services.

By visiting, accessing, interacting with or purchasing through our Services, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use the Services.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

2. OUR PRODUCTS

We make reasonable efforts to describe and display our products accurately.

However, colours, textures, bead shapes, patterns and appearance may vary slightly due to screen settings, photography, lighting and the natural characteristics of materials.

Baltic amber and gemstones are natural materials. Natural variations in colour, shape, clarity, inclusions and surface characteristics are normal and do not necessarily constitute defects.

Product descriptions, availability and specifications may be updated from time to time without notice.

We reserve the right to discontinue products, restrict quantities or limit availability by geographic market where reasonably necessary.

3. ORDERS

When you submit an order, you are making an offer to purchase products from us.

Your order is accepted when we confirm acceptance and successfully process the applicable payment.

We reserve the right to refuse, cancel or limit an order where reasonably necessary, including where:

a product is unavailable;
pricing or product information contains an obvious error;
payment cannot be authorised;
fraud or misuse is suspected; or
we cannot fulfil the order to the stated destination.

If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will refund the applicable amount.

Please review your order carefully before submitting it.

Returns, exchanges and refunds are governed by our published Return and Refund Policy.

Products purchased through Amber Buddy are intended primarily for personal or household use unless otherwise agreed.

4. PRICES, TAXES AND PAYMENT

Prices are displayed in the currency applicable to the market you are browsing where supported.

Prices, discounts and promotions may change without notice.

The price charged will be the price displayed at checkout at the time your order is submitted.

Shipping charges, taxes, duties and other charges will be displayed or explained where applicable.

For international orders, customs duties, import taxes or local charges may apply depending on the destination and applicable law.

You agree to provide accurate and complete payment and billing information.

Payment methods available to you may vary according to country, currency, device and checkout configuration.

5. SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

Orders are dispatched from our UK fulfilment office unless otherwise stated.

Available shipping services, charges, estimated delivery times and free-shipping thresholds vary by destination and are set out on our Shipping & Returns page and at checkout.

Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including carrier delays, customs clearance, weather and other transport disruptions.

We will provide tracking information where tracking is available for the selected shipping service.

Nothing in this section limits any statutory delivery rights available to consumers under applicable law.

6. RETURNS AND REFUNDS

Amber Buddy offers a 60-day return period, subject to the eligibility conditions stated in our Return and Refund Policy.

Returned items must meet the conditions set out in that policy.

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method.

7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The content of the Amber Buddy website, including its branding, logos, text, photographs, graphics, product designs, videos and other materials, is owned by or licensed to Jewelry Focus Ltd unless otherwise stated.

You may use the website and its content for personal, non-commercial purposes only.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, republish, commercially exploit or create derivative works from our content without our prior written permission, except where permitted by law.

“Amber Buddy” and associated branding may not be used in a way that suggests endorsement, affiliation or ownership without our permission.

Our Services may contain links to or integrations with third-party websites, payment providers, analytics services, social networks and other services.

We are not responsible for the content, availability, privacy practices or terms of third-party websites or services.

9. SHOPIFY

Our online store is powered by Shopify.

Shopify provides the ecommerce platform that enables us to offer our products and Services to you.

However, purchases made through the Amber Buddy store are transactions directly between you and Jewelry Focus Ltd trading as Amber Buddy.

Shopify is not the seller of Amber Buddy products.

10. PRIVACY

Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy.

Because our store is hosted by Shopify, Shopify may also process certain information as necessary to provide its ecommerce services.

Our liability relating to consumer purchases remains subject to all mandatory consumer protection rights applicable in your jurisdiction.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protection laws that apply in the country where you live.

If you are a consumer, nothing in these Terms prevents you from relying on mandatory rights or protections available to you under the laws of your country of residence.
